The 2023 Annual IUM Golf Day, held at the prestigious Houghton Golf Club on Wednesday, April 26th, was truly a day to remember.

With 30 teams of four players each, the air was filled with excitement and anticipation from the moment the day began. Beginning promptly at 08:00 with a scrumptious continental breakfast, participants fuelled up for an exhilarating 18-hole adventure.

Players embarked on their journey with a shotgun tee-off at 10:30, eager to conquer the course. Throughout the day, golfers were treated to activations at nine of the holes, offering a delightful array of unique snacks and refreshing drinks. But the real allure of these activations were the prizes - including the opportunity to win a BMW M4 or BMW M5 in the two hole-in-one competitions at holes 9 and 16.

As the day progressed, lunch awaited at the halfway house, providing a much-needed break and a chance to share stories of their escapades on the course. Once all players had completed their rounds, the talented Michael Sholz delighted the crowd with his extraordinary trickshot show, adding a touch of magic to an already unforgettable day.

As the sun set, guests gathered for a delectable dinner at 18:00, accompanied by live entertainment that had everyone tapping their feet. The prize-giving ceremony, a highlight of the evening, recognised the outstanding achievements of the day, leaving participants with unforgettable memories and cherished mementos.
