The IUM Annual Golf Day has become a much-anticipated highlight on the insurance industry events calendar and our 2024 offering was everything that the market has come to expect and more.

Held at the prestigious Houghton Golf Course, 32 fourballs arrived to sunny skies and a delicious breakfast of canapes – the perfect start to an exciting day that promised great company, mouthwatering treats and fantastic prizes. The 18 holes began with a shotgun start at 10:30, and while all 9 activation holes offered great fun there was no doubt that holes 9, 14 and 16 were the showstoppers.

Always striving to make each year better than the last, the IUM Annual Golf Day 2024 gave our golfers three shots at a supercar. A hole-in-one on hole 9 won a Ferrari Novitec 296, the prize at hole 14 was a Lamborghini Novitec Huracan and hole 16 had a Porche Techart 992 Carrera up for grabs. No one managed a hole-in-one this year, but we are excited to see this fiercely fun and competitive tradition continue in 2025.

Once all the teams had completed their rounds, they gathered for a side-splitting trick shot comedy show by Mike Scholz and Dave Levinsohn. At 18:00 we were joined at the prizegiving dinner by 170 guests; an indulgent three-course meal and live entertainment provided the perfect end to a day of sun, smiles and strengthened relationships.
