The 72nd Annual IIB Gala Dinner, held on 1 November 2024, was a night to remember, blending elegance, Egyptian mystique, and the warmth of industry camaraderie. As Diamond Sponsors, IUM was honoured to play a prominent role in this year's ‘Odyssey to Egypt’ themed event, offering a prime opportunity to connect with peers, clients, and brokers in a setting that truly transported guests into the heart of ancient Egypt.

The evening kicked off with gin cocktails and craft beers, setting a lively tone as attendees arrived. IUM ensured guests felt appreciated with thoughtful touches, such as branded umbrellas and copies of Slaying the Dragon, Antonio Iozzo’s number one best-selling memoir, which were warmly received and sparked discussion throughout the night.

Guests enjoyed lively entertainment paired with an exceptional dinner. Other highlights included the popular IUM wine station, waffle and coffee stands, and a 360-degree photo booth, each adding to the event’s memorable experience. In keeping with the Egyptian theme, everyone in attendance received Egyptian mythological god cards as keepsakes, adding a personal, meaningful memento from the evening.

The dinner provided an excellent platform to reassure partners and clients of our continued dedication to excellence and innovation in insurance. It was a pleasure to discuss our exciting future with brokers and partners who share our vision, and we look forward to more successful collaborations as we move forward.
